Hold a Positive Vision for Humanity

Orin and DaBen have sent lots of new information for us to tap into:

Importance of Holding a Positive Vision for Humanity
We can assist the world in stabilizing the current economic conditions by picturing a positive outcome. Rather than focus on how bad things are, hold a vision of the possibilities of transformation that exist for humanity and for yourself. Refuse to live in fear or to energize negative scenarios–do not think of them, imagine them, or worry about them. Every time a negative picture comes into your mind, replace it with a positive vision for humanity.

The current underlying belief in scarcity, lack and limitation, fear and greed, have created the outer economic conditions. Eventually the current world economic situation will resolve into a world based more on the thought of abundance for all, leading to more sharing, cooperation, and better conditions for everyone.

You can accelerate and help make this transition to a new economic paradigm for humanity by becoming aware of any thoughts or beliefs you can shift to stop acting from fear of lack and limitation, and instead trust that you have all you need, in every moment. Affirm your abundance and help others by affirming their abundance as well.

Pick one or more visions to energize with your positive thoughts:
(And create your own visions as well)

The current world economic situation is stabilized and a paradigm shift occurs.

Beliefs of scarcity become beliefs in abundance for all.

People believe in abundance and are able to create it in their lives.

Each person expands their consciousness, awakens their true vision, and evolves all the forms in their lives so they may carry out the true activity of their souls.

People everywhere make right decisions, inspired by their higher selves, and carried out skillfully.

People are mentally clear, emotionally calm, and spiritually aware.

Everyone is in touch with their creativity, strength, courage, and wisdom.

There is an unprecedented level of cooperation, teamwork, and sharing.

Humanity experiences an outpouring of love, new ideas, and soul connections.

There is hope, optimism, and positive visions of the future.

People know that the universe is friendly and always working for them.

People are supportive of those in need, and are generous with their assistance and sharing.

Criticism is replaced with understanding, love, and cooperation.

Every light worker becomes a radiating point of light, hope, inspiration, and courage.

People are awakening their light bodies everywhere.

Humanity is in alignment with Divine Will.

Humanity has enlightened leadership by all people in leadership positions.

People know their oneness with each other and with the plant, animal, and mineral kingdoms.

Isolation turns into community, aloneness into friendships, and separateness into inclusiveness.

All people are free to follow and live their higher purpose.

Humanity becomes aware of their higher purpose.

People’s personalities become vehicles to carry out their soul’s love, light, and will.

All people honor the earth and live in harmony with it and all life upon it.

The plan of humanity works out in all its beauty and perfection.

Common sense advice from Angels

Doreen Virtue sent me some good advice this week, that I thought I’d share with you:

Every part of our life movie has a happy ending, as we find hidden blessings and lessons within each change that occurs. Since change is a constant which we can count upon, the angels have suggested these ways to ride the flow in non-stressful ways:

Take a Nap – Give yourself permission to rest when you need it. A well-rested mind and body can find and act upon creative solutions to any problem.

Turn it Over – Are you stressed because you’re battling something single-handedly? Prayer is a powerful process to bring solutions to light, as you work in concert with the Divine. Let go and let God handle the details, by praying about the situation. Remember: worry never helped anything or anyone, but prayer always helps everything and everyone.

An Apple a Day – Healthful, balanced eating keeps our moods stable, so we’re more apt to see situations as opportunities instead of obstacles. And when you’re energy’s high because you’ve eaten meals with vitamins and minerals, you’re more apt to take positive action steps.

Hit the Road – Sometimes the best solution is to walk – or run – away from a problem by going for a stroll or a jog. The endorphins generated by exercise help you to see the possibilities and opportunities, instead of focusing upon the issue-at-hand.

Squeaky Clean – Chemicals (alcohol, sugar, caffeine, and drugs) make for wavering energy levels and rollercoaster mood swings, which isn’t fun for you or the people with whom you live and work. Detox yourself of chemicals, and you’ll be better able to focus, concentrate, and feel the beautiful range of life’s emotions (especially love!).

Phone a Friend – We all need support, especially during life’s darker moments. Book an appointment with a counselor, join a support group, put your name on an Internet prayer request site, call your best friend … and talk with God and the angels about your situation.

Look Over There! – If you’ve been obsessed with an issue, it’s often a good idea to take a break and think about something else for awhile. Create a healthy distraction that will put your mind upon something else. Then, when you go back to thinking about your situation, you’ll have gained a fresh perspective and new insights.

Unleash Your Inner Picasso – There’s no better outlet for stress than creativity! Do something colorful, fun, and artsy. It doesn’t have to be a masterpiece, as long as you enjoy yourself in the process.

Ahh … Fresh Air! Nature’s healing properties are profound, immediate, and all-encompassing. Get outside, open your windows, feed some birds, sit at the park, or stroll by a lake. You’ll be interacting with the nature angels, who are famous for clearing away stressful energies from our auras.

Ask, Ask, Ask – Ask for human and angelic help, and then accept it when it’s offered … guilt-free! We’re all in this together, and there’s strength in asking for other people’s help. After all, when you ask someone to help you, you’re giving them the opportunity to be a giver …which is Divine.

Interview the Issue – Ask the situation the following questions, either out loud, silently, or in writing: Why are you in my life? What are you here to teach me? What is the blessing within this situation? Listen to the answers, which will come to you as thoughts, feelings, or visions … because they contain helpful nuggets of healing truth.

Reiki research and ancecdotal evidence

Today I was interviewed by a student of Anthropology at Sussex University about reiki and it’s effects. It was incredibly refreshing for us both to chat about reiki training, healing, yoga and Indian philosophy. We ran out of time but will catch up again later in the month. Last year another student used me as a case study for her dissertation. Any research on reiki is so important, as it’s highly improbable that any medical research facility (usually funded by big pharmaceutical companies) would welcome money spent on hands on healing. The tools used to measure the effects of any complementary therapy are so crude, for me it’s all about results and that does mean much of the evidence is anecdotal i.e from people’s personal experience of trying out the therapy.

I recently read Your Body’s Many Cries for Water by the brilliantly named: Dr Batmanghelidj. He claimed back in 1979 that we’re all walking around chronically dehydrated and that drinking at least 8 glasses of water every day, will not only prevent illness but could also cure ailments such as asthma, high blood pressure and back pain. His research was mainly from experimenting on his clients and their subsequent letters and accounts. Now of course much of his research is in the mainstream - we all know now that drinking water can get rid of headaches, hangovers, excess weight etc. It’s common sense and instinct really, and we don’t need millions of pounds of research to know it’s correct.

In Allen Carr’s Easy Way to Control Alcohol (not to be confused with Alan Carr) he explains our natural instinct to reject alcohol (as children) is correct. Pure alcohol is poison, and we train ourselves to drink it, using mixers at first and later acquiring a taste for it. Our body violently rejects excess alcohol from the system or makes us feel dehyrated and lethargic the morning after. So why do we put ourselves through it? It’s all conditioning and social pressure to conform. Smoking was common place in our society and then gradually it’s become more socially unacceptable. Regular reiki healing and learning reiki helps us let go of all addictions easily, sometimes without even realising it.

There has been some research done on healing by the Reiki Research Foundation and William Lee Rand has collated some findings on his Reiki.org website.

A highly regarded surgeon I met a few years ago said that he found there was more resistance from alternative therapists towards conventional medicine than the other way around - more GP’s and doctors within the private sector as well as the NHS are becoming more open to using reiki as a means of relaxation and for speeding up recovery. In his words: anything that helps the patient is fine by me.

Valuing the differences

This is an old story by R.H. Reeves but new to me so I thought I’d share it with you.

Once upon a time, the animals decided they must do something heroic to meet the problems of a “New World,” so they organized a school. They adopted an activity curriculum consisting of running, climbing, swimming and flying. To make it easier to administer, all animals took all the subjects.

The duck was excellent in swimming, better in fact than his instructor, and made excellent grades in flying, but he was very poor in running. Since he was low in running he had to stay after school and also drop swimming to practice running. This was kept up until his web feet were badly worn and he was only average in swimming. But average was acceptable in school, so nobody worried about that except the duck.

The rabbit started at the top of the class in running, but had a nervous breakdown because of so much makeup in swimming.

The squirrel was excellent in climbing until he developed frustrations in the flying class where his teacher made him start from the ground up instead of from the tree-top down. He also developed charley horses from over-exertion and he got a C in climbing and a D in running.

The eagle was a problem child and had to be disciplined severely. In climbing class he beat all the others to the top of the tree, but insisted on using his own way of getting there.

At the end of the year, an abnormal eel that could swim exceedingly well, and also run, climb, and fly a little had the highest average and was valedictorian.

The prairie dogs stayed out of school and fought the tax levy because the administration would not add digging and burrowing to the curriculum. They apprenticed their children to the badger and later joined the groundhogs and gophers to start a successful private school.
