Hey Rachel, if I ever feel shaky and sick going somewhere, I DON'T go! But with writing a list, you boyf is right, if you push through out of your comfort zone: you could have a breakthrough. It's just a list after all.

I felt a lot of resistance when I did my first list, and forced myself to write down all the things I wanted for a dream house (3 bedrooms, etc) and put aside all my 'practical' thoughts about HOW this was going to happen. a couple of years later, I met chris and we bought this 3 bed house in Brighton - just as I planned. Chris also ticked my wish list for a boyf too!

Just do it for fun, when you really feel like it = like when you are on holiday or something. It's supposed to be fun xxx

I kind of sort of maybe keep wanting to do this. Just the thought of it makes me nervous, though; physically shaky and a bit sick. Isn't that ridiculous? The idea of writing a few things down throws me into a panic—nutty. My ex boyfriend, in all his pure-bred California-boy wisdom, always used to tell me that when I felt like that it meant I should absolutely do whatever I was obviously so terrified of, but my Essex-girl realism says to avoid things that make me want to puke. The whole thing's odd. I keep coming back to this page, though.
